I am in Kathmandu right now, getting ready to head back to Hetauda soon after a couple weeks of conferences, a language refresher course, and working in our head office.

One of my (many) favorite parts of Nepal is the way they consecrate--is that the right word?--their statues and idols with tika powder and marigolds... Hard to express why that speaks to me so, but it really does. I suppose in this deep way it just kind of feels right, you know?
